The problem is that existing binaries which linked with libucb will fail to run any more.
It is immaterial if those binaries *should* be linking with libucb or that it is a bug generator.
If key functions are moved to libc, there should at least be a run-time stub library or some other workaround to allow binaries with a dependency on libucb to still work.
