I'm pleased to announce the pkgsrc-2015Q1 binary package sets for illumos are now available. As always you can install them using the instructions here:
http://pkgsrc.joyent.com/install-on-illumos/ SmartOS users can use the 15.1.0 image sets which will be available over the next few days. Major changes in this quarterly release: * The epoll and inotify features provided for Linux compatibility in newer SmartOS have been explicitly disabled, ensuring the packages are more portable across distributions compared to 2014Q4. * OpenSSL is now on the 1.0.2 branch at version 1.0.2a. * PostgreSQL 9.4 has been added, PHP 5.3 has been removed. * 2,007 packages have been updated.
