Sorry, I was wrong: po files still contain all the old entries :) I'm almost done with bringing back packagemanager and update-manager :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sonicle S.r.l. : http://www.sonicle.com Music: http://www.gabrielebulfon.com Quantum Mechanics : http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/gabrielebulfon Da: Gabriele Bulfon A: [email protected] Cc: Alexander Pyhalov Data: 24 marzo 2016 18.50.39 CET Oggetto: Re: [discuss] pkg5 build errors First problem : a lot of the old pot files contain sections for the gui translations, which are no more present in the new source base. I bet the new source base pot files are changed, so I can't think to copy them over from the old ones. But even finding all the sections of the gui files can be a mess to transport to the new source base... Any idea? tools? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sonicle S.r.l. : http://www.sonicle.com Music: http://www.gabrielebulfon.com Quantum Mechanics : http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/gabrielebulfon ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Da: Alexander Pyhalov A: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Dan McDonald Data: 24 marzo 2016 16.23.41 CET Oggetto: Re: [discuss] pkg5 build errors On 03/24/2016 17:38, Gabriele Bulfon wrote: Ok, I will try to take care of it and will get back to you if you're interested in it. Thanks for all the infos, Gabriele Of course, I'd be interested if someone ressurected IPS GUI. However, perhaps, there can be some alternatives, for example, integration with packagekit or rewriting Update Manager and Package Manager from scratch. If I wanted to do it, I would interact with pkg CLI and avoid using python API, as I'm sure that it's not stable. -- Best regards, Alexander Pyhalov, system administrator of Southern Federal University IT department illumos-discuss | Archives | Modify Your Subscription
