I'm planning to apply. It requires not a lot of information, mostly things I can supply. What I can't supply is a Co-Organizer for illumos, AND an answer about delivering a presentation/demo. I know Jason King (aka. jbk) said he could make it out at least one of the three days because he's close. And Garrett said he might be able to modulo travel budget. I would like a volunteer to be the Co-Organizer. As for a demo/presentation, a Co-Organizer would be helpful in figuring out what to present or demo. A SmartOS type could show off LX zones. I could rehash my introduction-to-illumos-at-5(and-a-half-now) FOSDEM talk from earlier this year. There could be other cool things. I'm sending this to two lists: discussion@illumos and developer@illumos, but I'd like the discussion to happen on the discussion list. The deadline is this Friday. I'd like this sorted out by COB Wednesday, so I can enter the online form on Thursday. Thanks!
