I was more thinking about the cluster plumbing then the whole of OHAC.
Something on which a cluster solution could be built, but not
necessarily, but also not precluding, OHAC. That seems more in line
with the kernel-land view of illumos.

No proposal needed. Just click the "Create Project" button on the
illumos website. We're really informal around here, right up until you
get to the point where you want to integrate into illumos-gate. Then
were just a little informal. :-)
I'd guess OHAC should *not* be part of illumos-gate, but live in its own
consolidation.

my personal opinion is that it could be just highly useful and rare to
adopt cluster solution directly inbetween coreutils although this
concept is not very common.

sorry if i am completely wrong, i'm long time solaris admin and my real
and active interest about free sunos began just after osol - with closed
kernel parts - was been murdered ..
