Not much is happening in sun4u space -- mostly because there is definitely no
commercial contribution there, and very few hobbyists run sun4u anymore. Its
not dead though.
There are no formal distributions that support it, which is one of the main
barriers. So you have to do a lot of DIY to bring up illumos.
