Sadly, no. Since I wrote this, I had only one quick opportunity to
retest on a different board with a C602 chipset, and the issue didn't
manifest itself, but it was hurried and not very robust. So at this
stage, I'd say: I don't know. It's possible this was only an issue with
the specific board I had, so if possible, avoid the X9DRW-7TPF+.
