I tried rebuilding libtorrent/rtorrent with the 2 patches that one guy
posted over on the rtorrent git, rtorrent still dumps:

Notice the "User Signal 1".....
SmartOS uses pkgsrc for it's package builder, so I can't rebuild your
packages directly. I will try to move your patches over to my package tree
and see if I can rebuild with your work.
Question: When you were seeing rtorrent crash, was it only when you tried
to connect to it with rutorrent? This is what happens for me.
