All, Unless I am missing something,
dladm create-aggr -l nic0 -l nic1 -l nic2 -l nic3 -L <active,passive> aggr0 works just fine in the two switch configuration. It's been our experience, that the two switches need to look like they are one switch (e.g. cluster switch) to make it work.
