You are not answering the question! My question is very simple: Illumos is the ONLY OS that does not provide KMS. We need that or else soon it would not be possible to use a computer monitor with OpenIndiana, etc. This was documented almost 3 years ago: https://homepages.laas.fr/matthieu/talks/mh-fosdem-2013.pdf Now the question is: When are going to have KMS in Illumos? Do you have any plans to start working on this? A.S. PS Since I am citizen of Greece I know exactly what "behavior" means.
