In today's valgrind 3.14.0 release announcement I saw that there is no longer a valgrind maintainer for the Solaris port.

It would be very useful if a qualified person would step up and take over this responsibility so valgrind at least works well for Illumos. Valgrind works at the system call level, which creates some problems for Illumos, which focuses on stable shared library interfaces and not so much on stable system call interfaces.

Illumos's lack of valgrind or GCC/Clang's ASAN/UBSAN are the primary reason that I need to use Linux as a software development platform.
