methods like an hashmap implemented in C or via shell scripts.
Perhaps you need to read Luis's email again. There was no "objection"
expressed there.
What he's unable to understand is the complexity involved in
figuring out the dependencies associated with a particular package
and therefore their management.
Luis did not express that he is "unable to understand" something.
Instead he requested information from someone with the historical
knowledge of the SVR4 package management software.
More than likely we will learn that there was some license or
robustness issue which resulted in dropping the SQL implementation.
