There is no guide per se, but we recently started some work for ARM that
is so small it is still easily understandable as it's all in one
Makefile [0]
Together with "Building illumos" you are good to start experimenting.
Also checkout all of Peter Tribbles youtube videos "search for Tribblix"
to get an overview what he found when he got started.
