we're currently discussing dropping HAL support from the Xserver, since we didn't find any active user of it anymore. But somebody pointed out it might still be used in Solaris world: https://github.com/X11Libre/xserver/issues/162#issuecomment-2983371353 Is that correct ? Shall we keep it ? Note: I'm talking about the HAL that's once been invented at Gnome 2.
