Hi, Since I just joined the list I thought I'd write a quick note to introduce myself. I'm Matt Nish-Lapidus, an Interaction Designer from Toronto Ontario, Canada. I've been involved in the web in various ways since 1995 and just recently completely switched focus to web based interaction design.
Unlike a lot of people I meet who are interested in IxD, my professional background is in interface development/engineering and my education is in fine art. I'm not really a graphic designer, but I have a strong interest in design in general. My main focus is on usability and interface design for the web. That's a little about my background.. I hope to learn a lot from this community and am looking forward to getting involved. Is there anybody else here from Toronto? Or are there any Toronto groups that people here have heard about?
