*Web design for startup consumer site* About the site: The site will provide advice and guidance to people entering a specific new stage of life, helping them select them the best products that they will need. Members will learn about options for products, brands and models and purchase through manufacturers and merchants via affiliate links. Further information on the site will be shared with designers upon signing an NDA.
We have content and a navigation structure for the site (in roughly 60 PowerPoint slides) and are looking for a UI designer to help with the look and feel and the overall user experience. While the designer would not necessarily develop the full information architecture or develop the site, someone with a solid understanding of IA would be very helpful. What we need: At this point, we are looking at proposals for the site design, as well as portfolios of relevant past work and suggested processes for doing the work. However, if you are also interested in doing the site development, we can discuss this, too. We plan to roll out other sites and are interested in establishing an ongoing relationship over time. Deliverables: 1. Complete UI designs, including navigational flows; 2. Develop a visual identity, including a logo, images, shapes, color schemes, fonts and all other visual components; 3. At least 3 different design options; and, 4. One final design with html mock-ups of site pages, print, and admin pages, including css style sheets; and 5. Style Guide outlining design choices, color palettes, font choices, etc. Vendor Criteria: Experienced designers / developers only please. Ability to collaborate and iterate based on input is a strong plus. Being in the New York area would be a plus. Pricing: $2000+. Quotes should be for web design only.
