On design and IA questions, be sure to have a look at general portal
resources and those from other vendors too. Look for SAP Netweaver, BEA
Portal, IBM Websphere etc.
There is much insight about visual design, navigation, portlet
integration, page layout etc which is applicable regardless which
technical platform you are going to use, but posted in context of those
platforms instead of general portal design keywords.
