ABOUT WETPAINT: Wetpaint is a Web 2.0 startup developing a consumer publishing platform that makes it fun and easy to create click-and-type wiki communities. Focusing on ease of use, Wetpaint technology revolutionizes the way people connect and share their passions and interests online. More than 600,000 user-created communities have been started since the company's June 2006 launch. In addition to allowing web users to create their own free hosted communities, Wetpaint also partners with prominent consumer oriented companies like CBS, Dell, American Express, the Discovery Channel, HP, Oracle, and T-Mobile to create wiki sites around their brands and products.
Located in a funky loft space in the historic Pioneer Square district of Seattle, Wetpaint is a small but growing company where collaboration and nimbleness are championed. With funding from the same venture capital firms backing Facebook and Photobucket, Wetpaint is well positioned to change the way people interact on the Internet. To best experience how Wetpaint is revolutionizing web publishing, come explore the network of user-generated wiki communities and/or create one of your own at wetpaint.com.
