In the Bay Area, I go to my favorite bookstore, Modernbook, just off
University avenue across the street from the Apple Store.

Bryan and Mark, the two guys who run the store, have easily the best
collection of art, photography, architecture, graphic design and
general design books in the Bay Area. If you don't live around here,
I highly recommend finding a book store that isn't a Barnes and Noble
or Borders. I also enjoy hitting all the antique stores whenever I
visit New England, and finding things that are off the beaten trail.

Then outside of that, just visit Cameron Moll's design portfolio
(http://cameronmoll.com/portfolio/), or Ryan Sims work at The Big
Noob (http://thebignoob.com/) Can't go wrong with either of those two
gents as a place to jog the visual brain. I could post a massive list
of design blogs/websites if you wanted. There are a ton of great
things out there.
