This link was posted on the IA list by Mark, but I wanted the group to check it out - he explicitly mentions issues of interaction design and ambiant findability, spimes... interesting talk. For those who have seen Peter Morville's talk at the IA Summit, he also talks a bit about findability of 'things" as gives and example.
"Video showing Bruce Sterling giving the closing talk at the conference 'Innovationsforum Interaktionsdesign'. As usual, he creates a weird and wonderful vision of a technological and interface-driven future. The 'Innovationsforum Interaktionsdesign' was one of the most important conferences on interaction design in 2007." "You can just count the historical devices that have been replaced by the cell phone..." @ 13:00 minutes. http://www.vimeo.com/769193 -- ~ will "Where you innovate, how you innovate, and what you innovate are design problems" --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Will Evans | User Experience Architect tel +1.617.281.1281 || [EMAIL PROTECTED] ________________________________________________________________ Welcome to the Interaction Design Association (IxDA)!
