Hello fellow Designers,
I received this notification about a conference taking place in London and
thought of sharing the info with you.
CREATE 200824-25 June 2008, British Computer Society, Covent Garden,
Londonhttp://www.cs.mdx.ac.uk/research/idc/create2008/
A parallel question: I know that the life cost in London is really high, but
don't you think the price of attendance is a bit over the charts?
Member (ES and BCS): £235.00 (£200 plus vat) Non-Member: £264.38 (£225 plus
vat) <-- that's how much I'm going to pay if I attend the 2-day event.Student
Member: £70.50 (£60 plus vat)
I know this isn't the Nielsen Norman Usability Week (so expensive I'm not even
going to remind you the numbers), but do you know if CREATE 2008 is worth the
money? I'm asking because I'll probably be in London that week for job
interviews, and this conference seems like an interesting opportunity to learn
some more about UX...
Cheers, let me know your thoughts,
Tiago Marques
