Ideal candidates have good design skills, solid ActionScript and a strong development background. Responsibilities Implement and design Macromedia Flash ActionScript architecture to meet requirements of project scope. Work hand-in-hand with leads in other departments to create various applications using Flash. Develop and write technical documentation for reusable assets which can be easily customized on a per-project basis. Able to perform duties as both a Graphic Designer for look and feel and as an Engineer for backend logic/content conversion. Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Multimedia/Web Design, or comparable industry experience. 4+ years as an Interactive Flash Developer. Thorough experience with dynamic, interactive content in Flash 8 Professional. Expert knowledge of Actionscript 1.0 and 2.0. Experienced and comfortable with Object-Oriented Programming methods. Excellent oral and written communication, excellent debugging skills. UI/GUI Design Experience. Good artistic skills and being able to carry project from concept to visual. Successful track record of compatibility, detection, and optimization techniques with Flash. The ability to work with the development team to understand and troubleshoot problems arising during production. High attention to detail, aims to deliver mistake-free and bug-free work. Ability to work under short deadlines. Positive, upbeat attitude/personality with the ability to work independently. Must be able to work in a team of Flash developers on multiple projects simultaneously. Online portfolio required for consideration with samples of professional interactive Flash development.
