I applied to Domus Academy and was accepted about 2 years ago. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend due to my being broke. Their classes are in English. Now that I've been working, I would like to apply again. but my CPU doesn't seem to be able to handle all the Flash on their website. :(
For the most part, it seems that US schools (Master's programs) are very research focused, unless you go to an art school (Bachelor's programs). IxD seems more "trade" focused, so if it's offered in a traditional university it would likely be wrapped up into other more established academic fields, like industrial or digital design, HCI, engineering/CompSci or communications. (PS - I have a Masters in Information Science, and I have not yet read the other discussion list.) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
