Location: Silicon Valley
Salary: To 120K Full-time (or contract-to-hire)

A personalized shopping, research and discovery social networking
website is seeking a UI/Front End Developer. The UI/Front End Developer
will be responsible for building and solving challenging UI problems and
will collaborate with designers.
The ideal candidate will have built powerful, yet simple-to-use consumer
Web applications that have been used by millions of users, and he/she
will have solid skills in Web technologies and tools as well as
experience with Flash, AJAX, ActionScript, Flex and Agile.
*Responsibilities include:
** Developing interactive features (such as video chat)
* Creating toolbars
* Building Facebook applications and making the company's service
iPhone-ready
* Assisting with prototyping ideas for proof-of-concept
*Requirements:
** Experience in designing rich Internet applications
* Expertise in AJAX and knowledge of major AJAX/Web frameworks and
technologies
* Mastery of JavaScript
* Strong skills in HTML, DHTML, XHTML and CSS
* Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues
* Understanding of contemporary Web development tools and MVC frameworks
* Knowledge of full-cycle software engineering process and development
methodologies
* Enjoy working on Web technologies
* B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
* Experience with Agile development as well as Flash, ActionScript, Flex
and related technologies a plus
