Hey IxDA'ers! Happy new year---hope it's going swimmingly so far ;)

A cool, oh-so-fashionable role to start 2009 off right, in the City by the
Bay.. apologies for x-post.

Looking for a..

TEMP TO PERM, MID-TO-SR LEVEL INFORMATION ARCHITECT

...for a very cool little funky high-end fashion retailer in Union Square
area of San Francisco.

Office is in the heart of everything: shopping, restaurants,

transportation, and is housed in a heritage-style office building with

exposed brick walls, big open spaces, and a cozy, close-knit team.

Starts asap.

Local SF/Bay Area candidates only.

Must be able to lead UX initiatives and make recommendations, and take

the UX practice by the horns. This is not a "tell me what to do + I"ll

do it" position---this is a "I'm going to tell you what needs to be

done + do it!" position.

Experience working on major site builds in an e-commerce environment

is required. Experience in fashion a major plus, but not a

requirement.

Please be able to wireframe like a champ, have a great handle on

navigational/content hierarchy issues, shopping cart functionality,

and an ability to evangelize + "sell" your UX ideas to a greater team,

including management level folks. Having a great sense of humor and a

collaborative team spirit is great too.

Send resumes (+ URLs if you've got 'em) to:

Referral bonus offered; please forward thru your trusted networks,

thanks!
