Selenium really helps me in my work -- it eliminates a lot of the tedium that gets in the way of usability testing. For example, I can write a script that will register a new account, login, and navigate to a particular section. This is very helpful when our applications are being redeployed frequently, and accounts do not exist yet: at the touch of a button, I can quickly get into the application and test only the sections that need my attention.
