Qualitative Research Contractor, Seattle 5 plus month contract.
This position must have thorough working understanding and experience conducting the following research methodologies (particularly as they apply to identifying consumer pain points and unmet needs, concept and prototype evaluation)... Consumer ethnography, contextual inquiries and other anthropological methods Focus groups, triads and dyads In-depth interviews Additional required qualitative project skills include: Designing participant screeners and discussion guides Vendor (recruiting and selection and management Analysis and presentation The candidate will serve as an internal resource / consultant to innovation project teams so an ability to listen to project teams, understand their needs, scope and create an appropriate research program. Must be able to perform in a creative, loosely structured, highly creative environment. Job Requirements Knowledge of user-centered, empathetic design process Understanding of usability testing Familiarity of wireless industry experience facilitating ideation, brainstorming and synthesis sessions with teams Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: Qualifications: Four year college degree with focus on research, psychology, anthropology, or related fields Previous project management experience 5+ years of qualitative research experience as a practitioner Demonstrated ability to apply research to answer business questions and guide strategy Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint Ability to travel when needed is necessary Please send your resume for immediate consideration to gabr...@bestica.com Thank You.
