Our client, a leading e-commerce company is looking for a Senior Information Architect to help create future user experience by optimizing the site to maximize the web conversions. You will be responsible for transforming unmet user needs and business opportunities into successful product launches thru your ability to collaborate and work effectively with software developers. The ideal candidate is someone looking to increase functionality and provide a quality user experience.
Here's what you'll do: * Leverage your technical understanding to work collaboratively with software developers in delivering the best user experience * Utilize your judgment and experience to be able to make project trade offs as needed * Mentor and collaborate with other information architects * Define site information architecture * How to build trust on the site for buyers and sellers * The optimization of web conversion * How people sell items and manage their business, inventory, communication and customer support Requirements: * Excellent understanding of user experience design for the Web, technology trends, demonstrable design skills, and ability to show wireframes. * Solid depth of new front-end technologies such as VISIO, Adobe Flex/AIR. * Excellent understanding of web technologies and how to work with developers to leverage them. * Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups and to senior executives. * Experience with ecommerce sites highly desirable, especially on Selling side. * Bachelors or higher degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science or related field. Masters degree preferred. Please send wireframes and workflows showing some kind of conversion from user to customer.
