We like to offer the standard rate (equivalent to $75), but may increase or decrease depending on the response rate we get. Amazon often does just as well as cash in Western countries, but we've found Indian users eager to take Amazon UK certificates because they wanted to use them buy books they couldn't buy locally. Generally for international incentives, however, we'll either wire money to the participants via Western Union, or if we're recruiting participants through an agency, we'll have the agency handle the honorarium.
