I'm going to watch this a few more times. If you've ever wondered about the
business of software innovation (or the lack of innovation in software).


I think there's a lot to say about System Administration and project
management as well. Especially this statement:

"So if you’re going to run a company that is going to set itself apart from
the herd. It’s really, really important that you align with your colleagues
around what does that look like. What does that look like. Neutralization.
We’ve got to get back in, but this is context. *So the danger here is in
juniors who work for you are red, blue, colorblind. Once you give them an
assignment they cannot tell the difference between red and blue in this
chart.* They are going to beat.* They are going to the best feature that’s
ever been done because I’m an engineer with your question. So it’s
economically not the right idea.* So you have to frame. The good thing is
fun about working with engineers is they intuitively understand systems
thinking and by the way, most other people don’t. So what’s really fun about
it is you must frame the system with a model."
