Thanks to all the folks who have responded so far. The iOS devices need
to run 5.0 or greater. I know that android devices will work also, but
lots of android devices will not work as we found out the hard way at
LISA which is why I am focusing on iOS devices.

instead of depending on volunteer devices at conferences we can keep a
few in our conference kit (table cloths, Square credit card readers,
