Folks, $employer is moving premises and we're looking to make sure we're considering all reasonable options for ISPs. I'm looking for recommendations. We buy connectivity from two, so that we can fail over. We're switching out one of the existing providers when we move, because we'd like our failing over to be more rare than it currently is. The second link is just a smallish DSL, we're keeping that provider.
Small software tech company (we've passed Series A), based in SoMa in San Francisco; the ISP links are for office use and development, not for hosting, so it's a client profile and asymmetric bandwidth is fine. Lots of GitHub usage, so peering problems (bandwidth limits) with GitHub are definitely pertinent. Probably looking for something with a 50/10 Mb/s minimum. Recommendations? Thanks, -Phil _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
