I am in Boston.
I use BLU (boston linux unix)
BBLISA (back bay large installation system administration)
Macenterprise (obviously, mac in the enterprise)
openindiana-discuss (obviously, openindiana)
SAGE (not really an active list)
There is also a Boston Security meetup, serves free pizza & beer.
Usually has interesting talks. I've given a talk there on whole disk
encryption.
I host a Meetup in San Francisco a couple of times a month
(http://www.meetup.com/sysadmins-San-Francisco/); so, that. I also lurk
in a lot of different IRC channels.
