This sounds like a great idea Matt. I wish I had more practical knowledge of statistics. The math they teach in school tends to be theoretical.
As a SysAdmin I don't really need to know how or why the standard deviation is calculated (there is an app for that). I need to know what it means and how to apply it. Not "when would I use a mean or median" but "When I am evaluating load capacity, what kind of data do I use, what kind of statistics do I use, and how do I interpret the answer?" What does it mean if my system metrics increase in one or more of mean, median, standard deviation while the others remain unchanged? And similar practical applications.
