We try to discourage it *because* sajobs exists. Most people who aren't
looking for a new position consider job postings noise rather than signal.

If nothing else, your post has probably increased the number of people
subscribed (and if it hasn't, let me help):

If you're interested in getting job postings, LOPSA has an SA Jobs list (
https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/sajobs). The idea is that
it can be an interim place until the job board is completed for the
website.
