What specifically do you want to backup? In recent years, I find I simply login to google, and voila, nearly everything is restored - my apps, my settings, etc etc... The only stuff that seems to be missing is the sdcard data. For sdcard data, I've used a few solutions I was really happy with: Install an ssh server on the mobile device. Then use goodsync or rsync, or anything similar, to nightly backup sdcard to a local machine... Given you said you'd like to backup over local network to linux machine, I think this sounds basically ideal for you. _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
