Please note that despite: - never having been a customer - asking via email to be removed - asking via customer service to be removed - asking via a salescritter who called me up to be removed they have been sending me data center operational updates, both routine and emergency, for the last nine years. I had asked a salescritter for a quote on a multi-T1 service back when that was a reasonable thing to ask for, and somehow my email got on their list. They've never managed to remove me, although several people there have said that they would.
