How much traffic could such a list support?
In my experience, it wouldn't be much traffic.
I ask only because *most* times you don't necessarily advertise in
public that you're looking lest your current employer start giving you
funny looks.
That's part of why :). Note that some people don't have a current employer
to worry about and some have an employer pretty much driving them to look
elsewhere. And there are some like adamm who are almost always looking for
the next gig. The fun of contracting :).
Why can't the sajobs support both sides of job seeking? Those seeking
employees and those seeking jobs.
I've already snagged a few people because they mentioned in channel that
they're open to looking for a new job. Job seeking posts to the sajobs
list would useful in the same manner.
