We’re happy to invite you to MariaDB Day Brussels, taking place on 1 February
2026.
MariaDB Day is a full-day, in-person community event focused on the current
state and future direction of MariaDB. The program will bring together core
engineers, ecosystem partners, and community members for a day of technical
updates, practical talks, and open discussion.
What you can expect:
A State of MariaDB update, including an introduction to the new MariaDB 12.3.
Deep dives into core features, performance, and MySQL compatibility
Talks on extensibility, plugins, and third-party innovation
Migration-focused sessions
Ecosystem and real-world adoption stories
Open conversations about where MariaDB is heading in 2026 and beyond
The event is designed for developers, DBAs, architects, contributors, and
anyone interested in the long-term, open future of MariaDB. With many in the
open source database community already gathering in Brussels that week for
Fosdem, this is an opportunity to take a dedicated day to focus specifically on
MariaDB.
