April 19th 2007, Stockholm, Sweden: Imendio AB today announced its
involvement in founding of the GNOME Mobile And Embedded Initiative
(GMAE).
The GNOME Mobile And Embedded Initiative was today announced at the
Embedded Linux Conference in Santa Clara, USA. The foundation was
founded as a joint effort between several market leading
organizations as a community effort to develop and provide an open
platform for mobile devices built on top of the mature GNOME software
stack.

to see this serve as an important bridge between the GNOME community
and the embedded market as well as a marketplace for further
