DATA AND GIS OFFICER FOR BBOWT Salary: £20,000 per annum Permanent Contract Based near Oxford The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing 88 nature reserves, influencing land management across the 3 counties and actively working to educate and encourage all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife. The Data and GIS Officer will be responsible for overseeing the processing of the large quantity of biological data collected from our Nature Reserves. They will be responsible for the smooth running of the GIS system and integration with other software systems. A large part of the role will be to provide support and training for non specialist staff in use of GIS, Recorder and Access based software. Applicants should have at least a year's experience of data management, be proficient using databases and GIS software (ideally Recorder, ArcGIS & Access), have good interpersonal skills and be able to manage requests for information and support.
