Our company currently makes use of the city's GIS Application but then we have
been tasked with business on areas outside the city's
GIS boundaries which means an area targeted for development needs to have new
street names and roads and other infrastructure developments
I have currently installed OSGeo but I'm not sure how the relevant data is
stored in a database in relation to the street name, suburb and finally
the actual property that the application is based on.
What I have seen OSGeo to offer is the capability to zoom into an area and
choose between the different area infrastructures like railways, roads etc
but I'm not quite sure how to pass parameters like a suburb name, street name
to an OSGeo application.
kind regards
