He has been working to help spread OSGeo through various conferences and events in South America. He also wrote several scientific publications as well as took part in many research activities in the field of geoinformation science. He is currently in charge of the GIS Office at the Dirección Nacional de Topografía -Ministerio de Transporte y Obras Públicas (MTOP; Ministry of Transport and Public Works) in Uruguay. Thanks.
