Ariel is an electronic engineer with experience in sensor networks and
software development. He has contributed to many open source software
projects centered around web development and GIS. His work in disaster
risk reduction centers around the use of open source geospatial tools
to improve resilience to natural hazards. He is doing a masters degree
on Electronic Engineering and his research involves finding abnormal
