For FOSS4G North America 2015 (March 9-12th , 2015) in San Francisco, California , USA the Call for Maps & Posters is now live at https://2015.foss4g-na.org/news/call-posters-and-maps It is a great opportunity to share your interesting work to a global audience. For FOSS4G Europe 2015 (July 14th-17th, 2015) at Como , Italy http://europe.foss4g.org/2015/ there is planned Map Competition (details to be announced soon) Also as with the previous years for the main FOSS4G conference at Seoul, South Korea (Sep 14th-19th, 2015) there will be Map Competition http://2015.foss4g.org/programme/map-gallery/ and this year's program will be led by Prof. Youngok Kang, president of KCA (Korea Cartographic Association) FOSS4G conferences are the flagship events of the Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo). OSGeo http://www.osgeo.org software and technologies are the major contributor for the global geospatial economy and used by hundreds of thousands of users in academia, governments and business worldwide and rapidly increasing.
