+1 I totally agree with Cameron. I also think we should be more careful when we are demanding things from people that are already putting a lot of their time/energy/health in *doing* things for our community. I only did a rather small regional FOSS4G event (FOSS4G-CEE 2013 - 230+ people) but I can really understand how difficult this is. Please also don't underestimate the value of nominee secondations from the members of our community. Being a global organization make it difficult to know every one in person. My feeling is that, sometimes, the trust expressed by some other community members for a nominee is even more important by what the nominee is commiting/promise before the elections. As CRO, I abstain myself until now for any personal thoughts on the election process. Please do not get this e-mail as a support message for Sanghee. I simply want you to point you to the fact that *all* the nominees already did important concrete things for our cause.
Best, Vasile PS Please ignore all the typos and the bad English from my message.
