So coming out of this meeting there are a bunch of good ideas - but we will need volunteers to run them to ground.
I am going to clean up the web pages a bit: - http://www.osgeo.org/sponsorship/opportunities (need to update this page for 2017 based on http://www.osgeo.org/node/1755 blog post). - http://www.osgeo.org/sponsorship Guido are you happy to take on the "networking event" ideas for foss4g? It sounds like you had a b2b event already being planned. How to handle the OSGeo booth (at foss4g and other events) has been a bit random. I do not know if I should start with the board or the marketing committee. -- Jody Garnett On 20 February 2017 at 18:47, Jody Garnett <jody.garn...@gmail.com> wrote: > Thanks to those who participated in OSGeo sponsors chat this morning, here > are some notes for the email list. > > I would like to highlight two common themes: > > The organizations represented in the meeting already very generous with > their time and resources (even before it comes to question of > sponsorship).
