Mayte is a free and open source advocator. She runs a geo company
where she always tries to promote and extend free and open source
software. She is an advanced user and developer for postGIS and qGIS.
She is a very active leader in local and regional geo groups and also
very active promoting diversity in technology. Mayte is also highly
involved in new technologies like virtual reality and how to make geo
software more usable to newcomers.
