Hi, Does anyone know if it's possible to embed an external overview as an internal overview? Due to a long-standing performance-related bug ( https://github.com/OSGeo/gdal/issues/1442), generating internal overviews on larger GeoTIFF's takes many weeks. Generating them as external overviews on the other hand takes a day for the same GeoTIFF's.
Any push in the right direction is much appreciated. Cheers, Tom
