3rd flood main door: -Automatic closer removed until we can install one that doesn't crash the door into the frame. Please make sure the door is closed when you leave. -Thor and I spent too much time messing with the doorknob, but now it shouldn't allow unlocking from the outside (without a key). If anyone notices otherwise please let us know. -That cracking wood frame is still crap - anyone knows where we can get a properly-sized metal one for cheap?
Door from Sksp lounge to AW: -The emergency-door-unlock-pullswitch now goes through the access system for the audible alarm (KT400 blue-pull-switch input will send e-mail and trigger KT400 'bell relay' output), so if someone doesn't understand the "pull in case of emergency" label and after pulling it gets frightened from the alarm going off, that can now be remotely disabled until the pullswitch is properly closed. Network updates: -AW network now has a fileserver that will be configured for access from the client PCs. VPN access is also available for those that want it. The IP range 192.168.0.x will be changed to 172.16.x.y to not interfere with home networks. -Internal webpage with access to AW cameras and production device webpages (later SNMP data) is up for testing. -I'm also looking at changing Sksp network to separate private and 'guest' networks, with private in a different 172.16 range. AW motion detection: -the landlord wasn't happy with the costs of many lights (emitting heat) and heaters (removing heat) running 24x7. My idea is that both the card access sign-in and AW cameras detecting motion will set/reset a timer keeping the lights & AC on for 10 minutes. Insurance is confirming that we can implement it. If you somehow don't move for 10 minutes or are out of range of the cameras and those shut off when they shouldn't, let me know and it'll get fixed. This should be in place within the week.
